Petit Jean Leadership Training

On our November camp out, Troop 73 went to Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas. Here we endured the sleet and rain setting up. The next day we learned leadership skills and pretend light-saber dueled with plastic bats. Then in the afternoon we ate at the lodge. We packed up in the ice the next day.

Dismals Canyon

For our September campout, Troop 73 traveled to Dismals Canyon in Alabama. We hiked through the canyons, swam in the cold water, played in the waterfall, and ate at the park’s cafe. Mr. Mike even went through “Fat Man Squeeze”! We camped at Horseshoe Bend campground, and our neighbors were very complimentary on our conduct and manners.
