SUMMARY:NYLT (Chickasaw Council)
DESCRIPTION:Scouts who participate in NYLT will learn and develop advanced leadership skills that will be transformational for them\, their unit and our community. These are leadership skills that will last a lifetime and give participants an advantage in their personal\, educational\, and professional lives. \n\n\nParticipation Requirements\n\n\n\nMust be a registered member of a Scouting unit.\n\n\n\nMust have a current BSA Health and Medical Record form\, parts A\, B\, and C.\n\n\n\nScouts BSA members (male and female) must be at least 13 years old and have completed the First Class rank. They must have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops. \n\n\n\nVenturers and Sea Scouts (male and female) must be at least 14\, or 13 and have completed eighth grade\, and fall within the maximum age allowance for their program. They must have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews or Ships. It is recommended that they have had at least one year of camping experience. While N.Y.L.T. is not an outdoor skills course\, it is important that each participant have basic camping and outdoor cooking experience.\n\n\n\nHave a unit leader recommendation.\n\n\n\n\n$250 per youth participant \n\n\n\n\nRegister on Chickasaw Council
